17. Avoid operating on traction surfaces that are unstable; use extreme caution if
the surface is slippery.
18. Do not stop the mower or park the mower over combustible materials such as
dry grass, leaves, debris, etc.
SAFETY INTERLOCK SYSTEM
▪ This mower is equipped with a Safety Interlock System for the protection of the
operator. If the Interlock System should ever malfunction, do not operate the
mower. Contact PRORUN Customer Service.
▪ The Safety Interlock System prevents the mower from starting unless the Parking
Brake is set, and the blades are disengaged.
▪ The mower will automatically shut off if the operator leaves the seat.
▪ To test the Safety Interlock System, leave the mower running, engage the Park
Brake Handle, and lift up off from the seat for a few seconds. If the mower shuts off
the system is working correctly. If the mower does not shut off, do not operate the
mower. Contact PRORUN Customer Service.
DIRECTIONS BEFORE STARTING WORK
Before you operate the mower, study this operator’s manual carefully to familiarize
yourself with the operation of all instruments and controls. It has been prepared to
help you operate and maintain your mower’s efficiency. Before starting to mow, it is
necessary to carry out several checks and operations to ensure you can work
efficiently and in maximum safety.
SEAT ADJUSTMENT
adjust the seat for operator’s maximum comfort and visibility and for maintaining
complete control of the mower.
TIRE PRESSURE
Having the right tire pressure is the main condition for ensuring that the cutting
deck is horizontal and mows evenly. Unscrew the valve caps and connect a
compressed air line with a gauge to the valves.
Do not operate the mower if the safety interlock system is
malfunctioning. This system was designed for your safety and protection.
CHECKING MACHINE SAFETY AND EFFICIENCY
1. Check that the safety devices function as described.
2. Check that the brake is in perfect working order.
