The Safety Switch located on the left side of the Charging Port is a part
of the Safety Interlock System. The power of the mower will disengage with opening of
the Charging Port Cover.
CHARGER MODEL WT4808PNG/ WT4808PMG:
▪ INPUT: 100-240V, 50/60Hz, Max. 4.5A / OUTPUT: 48Vd.c 8A
▪ The batteries must only be charged in an area protected against poor weather
conditions in the shade at a recommended temperature of between 32° to 95° F
(0° to 35° C).
▪ The batteries are equipped with a protection device that inhibits recharging if the
environmental temperature is not between 32° to 113° F (0° to 45° C).
BATTERY CHARGING TIPS
▪ Use only the Battery Charger provided with this mower.
▪ The batteries should be fully charged before each use.
▪ It is recommended that the mower batteries are charged once every month
during off-season storage.
▪ It will take approximately 10 hours to fully charge the batteries
▪ Leaving the batteries connected to the Battery Charger for more than 10 hours will
not damage the batteries.
▪ The batteries do not develop a memory and do not need to be fully discharged
before recharging.
▪ Always disconnect the Battery Charger (or extension cord, if used) from the
electrical outlet first, then disconnect the Charging Cord from the Charging Port.
▪ It is recommended that the mower be charged after every use. Storing batteries
in a discharge state could reduce future performance.
