RIDING MOWER STORAGE
Store the mower indoors, in a dry place, and out of the reach of children.
If your mower is not going to be operated for an extended period of time (30 days to
approximately 6 months) the mower should be prepared for storage. Store the
mower in a dry and protected location. If stored outside, cover the mower
completely to protect it from the elements.
The Procedures Outlined Below Should Be Performed Whenever the Mower Is Placed in
Offseason Storage:
1. Clean the entire mower thoroughly
2. Fully charged the batteries and recharge the batteries every 30 days when in
storage.
3. Lubricate all lubrication points
Use of a pressure washer or garden hose is not recommended to clean your
mower. This may cause damage to the electrical components and bearings. The use of
excessive water will result in shortened life and reduced serviceability.
REMOVING THE RIDING MOWER FROM STORAGE
1. Fully charge the batteries and inflate the tires to the recommended pressures.
2. Drive the mower without a load to make certain all the mower systems are
functioning properly.
