eliminate possible malfunctions yourself:

Have you selected the right
measuring sockets? Is the measuring
range/mode correct (AC/DC)?
Faulty measuring
results are displayed.
Has null balancing of the display or a
0 Ohm calibration for the resistance
measurement been carried out? Is
the batteries not properly assembled
in?
