Shift to gear P
When gearshift lever is in P position, the
driving wheels will be locked mechanically
for parking the vehicle. This is the gear
position to start the engine.
Shift to gear D
Normal drive gear.
Shift to gear R
Reverse gear.
Shift to gear M (Manual)

Upshifting in manual mode.
－:
Downshifting in manual mode
Shift to gear N
Transmission will be idle and engine can neither
transfer power to driving wheels nor provide
braking action when the gearshift lever is at N
position.
AUTO HOLD button
While the engine is running, if you press the
AUTO HOLD button, the automatic hold
function is enabled and the AUTO HOLD
button indicator will illuminate (the driver door
must be closed and the seat belt is fastened).
Press AUTO HOLD button again to disable the
automatic parking function and the AUTO
HOLD button indicator will turn off.
Electric Parking Brake (EPB) button
▪ Automatic application function:
When the vehicle stops and engine is turned
off, EPB will automatically applied. If EPB has
been applied before the engine is off, EPB will
stay in its applied position after the engine is
off.
▪ Automatic releasing function:
When the vehicle is not in motion and the EPB
is in its applied position, if you start the engine
and press the accelerator pedal, EPB will be
released automatically (the seat belt must be
fasten and the gearshift lever is in D position).
Press the ESC OFF button to disable the ESC
function.
The ESC OFF indicator on the meter instrument
will illuminate. When the vehicle speed is ≥
80km/h, ESC function will automatically activate.
It is not suggested to turn off ESC, unless:
• The vehicle is equipped with snow chain.
• The vehicle is stuck in deep mud and needed
to get out by moving the vehicle forward and
backward.
