Starting the Vehicle
Keyless Start
Make sure the intelligent key is inside
the vehicle or place it at at the key
identication area as shown in gure.
Intelligent key detector area
Starting the Engine
1. Carry a valid intelligent key.
2. Place the gear in N position or press
the P button to place the gear in P
position.
3. Press and hold the brake pedal.
4. Press the ignition switch (push start
button).
Stopping the Engine
1. Make sure the vehicle has stopped.
2. Press the P button to place the gear
in Park (P) position.
3. The EPB will engaged automatically.
4. Press the ignition switch to OFF
position (shut down the engine).
Ignition Switch
OFF:
At OFF position, press brake pedal and
ignition switch to start the engine (gear
shift lever in P or N position).
Press ignition switch only will shift to ACC
position.
ACC:
At ACC position, electrical accessories
such as radio and backup power supplies
can be used.
Press brake pedal and ignition switch will
start the engine (gear shift lever in P or N
position).
Press ignition switch only will shift to ON
position.
ON:
At ON position, most electrical devices
such as the meter instrument can be used.
Press brake pedal and ignition switch to
start the engine (gear shift lever in P or N
position).
Press ignition switch only will return to
OFF position.
