    • One 120 Volt AC, 30 Amp twist lock receptacle (NEMA L5-30) (protected by a 30 Amp push-to-reset circuit breaker). Rated for up to 3600 watts (3.6 kW).
    • One 120V/240V AC, 30 Amp twist lock receptacle (NEMA L14-30) (protected by a 30 Amp push-to-reset circuit breaker). Rated for up to 7200 watts (7.2 kW).
  • DC Output: 12 Volt 8.3 Amp (for charging batteries only).
  • Grounding: Features a ground terminal on the front panel for connection to a driven ground rod using a No. 8 AWG copper wire.

Usage Features

  • Starting System: Equipped with both electric push start and recoil (manual) starter.
  • Fuel Valve: ON/OFF position for fuel control.
  • Choke Lever: Used during engine start-up, gradually moved from "Choke" to "Run" position as the engine warms.
  • Engine ON/OFF Switch: Controls the engine's power state.
  • Oil Alert Lamp: Indicates low oil level, preventing engine damage.
  • Hour Meter: A digital display that tracks engine running hours, indicating when maintenance (e.g., "LUBE" at 25 and every 100 hours) is due.
  • Circuit Protectors: Push-to-reset circuit breakers protect AC receptacles from overload.
  • Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI): Receptacles are GFCI-protected to prevent electrocution from moisture or faulty electrical devices. A TEST/RESET button is provided for verification.
  • Portability: Features handles and no-flat tires for easy transport. Support feet provide stability during operation.
  • Battery Charging: The 12V DC output can be used to charge a 12-volt automotive or storage battery.
  • Power Management: Recommends starting the engine without loads, allowing it to stabilize, then connecting devices from largest to smallest output to prevent overloading.
  • Cold Weather Operation: Guidelines include using fresh fuel, synthetic 5W-30 or SAE 5W-30 engine oil, keeping the fuel valve open, and sheltering the unit.
  • Safety Features:
    • Warnings against indoor operation due to carbon monoxide risk.
    • Instructions to avoid operating near flammable objects or ignition sources.
    • Caution against hot surfaces (muffler, cylinder).
    • Warnings about high voltage and electrocution risk, emphasizing proper grounding and dry operating conditions.
    • Instructions to disconnect electrical devices before starting or stopping the engine.
    • Warnings about moving parts and recoil starter hazards.
    • Prop 65 warning regarding chemicals in engine exhaust and battery components.

Maintenance Features

  • Maintenance Schedule: A detailed schedule outlines routine tasks based on operating hours (After First 5 Hours, After 8 Hours or Daily, Annually (25 hr Use), Annually (100 hr Use)).
  • Oil Change: Recommended after the first 5 hours, then annually (or more often in dirty conditions). Involves draining old oil and adding SAE 10W-30 4-Cycle engine oil. An oil viscosity chart is provided for different outdoor temperatures.
  • Oil Level Check: Daily or after every 8 hours of use, using the dipstick.
  • Air Filter Maintenance: Check and clean annually (or more often in dirty/dusty conditions). Involves removing dirt by tapping or blowing out; replacement is recommended annually.
  • Spark Plug Maintenance: Service annually (100 hr Use). Involves cleaning carbon deposits, checking and adjusting the electrode gap (0.762 - 0.80 mm), and replacing with an equivalent part (e.g., NGK BP6ES, Champion N9YC) if worn.
  • Fuel System Maintenance:
    • Fuel Valve Service: Annually (100 hr Use).
    • Fuel Filter Replacement: As needed if clogged. Requires emptying the fuel tank.
    • Draining Fuel Tank and Carburetor: Recommended for long-term storage to prevent gum deposits.
  • Muffler and Spark Arrestor: Check and clean annually (25 hr Use). The spark arrestor should be inspected for breaks or holes and cleaned of carbon deposits.
  • Cooling System: Clean annually (100 hr Use). Servicing by an authorized dealer is recommended.
