If your PVI Industries Water Heater fails to start, begin by checking the power supply, including the fuse and circuit breaker, and verify the voltage at the 120/24V step-down transformer. Then, check if the on-off switch is lighted. Ensure that the operating temperature control is set higher than the current water heater temperature. Inspect the flame safeguard control for a bad ground or control, replacing it if needed. Verify that the combustion air blower fan connection terminals on the flame control are closed. Check for 24V at field access terminal C2, as a remote interlock may be open. Also, the fan VFD may be defective, verify proper voltage.
