Whilecharging, when the chargeris connected to yourbattery, theLED will show a
redlight indicating that the battery isinchargingprocess. Once completed, the LED
lightwillchangefromredtogreen,indicatingthebatterychargingprocesshasbeen
completed.It isnotunusualfor some batteriestobecharged within 2hoursaftera
roundofgolf.
Inmostcircumstances,afullchargingcycleshouldtakeupto4hours,buttheremight
beapossibilityofvariancesduetothelevelofdischarge,batteryconditionandageof
the battery. Also, a new battery can take over 6 hours on first charging cycle. We
recommend charging a battery fully and leaving the battery on charge for 12 hours
beforedisconnectingandstoringthebatteryandcharger.
Connections
Yourbatteryleadhasa“TBar”connectorthatallowsyoutodirectlyconnectittothe
battery. Please ensure that you connect the positive side of the T connector to the
positivesideofthebattery.Tohelppreventamistake,theTconnectorhasanoffset
slotthathelpstoprotectagainstincorrectconnections.Ifthecableisnotslippingin
easily,pleasecheckthatyouareconnectingtheTcablecorrectly.
On the other end of the cable is a Torberry/ Anderson connection system. Please
ensurethattheredwireisconnectedtothepositiveterminalonthebatteryandthe
blackwireisconnectedtothenegativeconnection.Whenconnectingthebatterylead
toyourcaddy,youMUSTensurethattheblack&redconnectionplugmatches.Both
connections need to align with their own color coding, or you will damage your
caddy’selectricalsystem.
DONOTCONNECTTHEBATTERYiftheplugdoesn’tgored-to-redandblack-to-black
fromthebatterytoyourcaddy.Pleaseinspectyourleadseachtimeyouplugthemin
to make sure there are no signs of melting, corroded contacts, etc. They are easily
replacediftheyshouldeverbecomeworndown.
