The machine must be carried by at least two people.
Maintenance Features
- Water Inlet Filters: Filters prevent dirt from entering the machine and should be cleaned every 2 months or when water intake is insufficient. This involves unscrewing hoses, removing filters with pliers, cleaning them with a soft brush and soapy water, and re-inserting them.
- Pump Filter: Located behind a cover on the front-lower right, the pump filter should be cleaned every 2 months to prevent lint buildup. The process involves opening the cover, draining water into a container, loosening the filter by turning anticlockwise, removing foreign materials, and re-fitting it.
- Detergent Drawer: The drawer should be removed and cleaned with water and a soft brush every 2 months to prevent residue buildup. It should not be washed in a dishwasher.
- Flush Stopper: Located in the detergent drawer, it should be disassembled and cleaned to remove softener residue.
- Body/Drum Cleaning: The external casing can be cleaned with a mild, non-abrasive agent. The drum should be kept free of metallic objects to prevent rust stains, which can be cleaned with a non-chlorine cleaning agent. Wire wool or similar hard objects should not be used.
- Periodic Cleaning: Regular cleaning of the washing machine every 2 months is recommended, using a "Drum Clean" program or "Cottons-90" program if the former is unavailable. Limescale removers specifically designed for washing machines should be used when needed.
