CONTROL STICK
NEUTRAL / VERTICLE
STRAIGHT UP
>>This Step is with reference to Page 9 in Section 8 and DETAIL “B”
>>The Angle of the seat should be in its Final position.
>>The For Aft adjustment of the Seat Mount Assy should be complete.
1. Position Straight Edge on top of Horizontal Stabilizer and Elevator
This should be on the side with the Elevator Control Horn. (LEFT)
2. Elevator and Horiz. Stab. need to held against bottom of straight edge.

3. Position and hold the Control Stick so it points Straight UP.
4. Align Holes in FWD Push Pull Tube (40177) and Elev. Adjust Tube (80027).
Install AN-15a Bolt & Nut. IF NO TWO HOLES ALIGN, Then use the 40177
as a guide and drill another 1/4” hole in the 80277.
5. With the Elevator in the DOWN position (stick forward) you should easily be
able to comfortably behold the Control Stick without having to REACH forward.
6. UP Elevator Travel from Neutral should be approx. 24° (Degrees)
