Why doesn’t my Rackmount UPS perform to its expected runtime?

  There are several reasons why your Rackmount UPS might not be performing to its expected runtime: * The battery may be undercharged or depleted due to frequent power outages. To resolve this, recharge the battery by leaving the UPS plugged in and switched on. * The power required by your equipment might slightly exceed the capacity of the UPS. Try unplugging at least one piece of equipment from the UPS outlets. * The battery could be slightly worn out. In this case, you should call the service personnel to replace the battery.

  If your Rackmount UPS cannot be turned on, consider the following possibilities: * The UPS might be designed to prevent damage from flipping. Try switching the UPS off, waiting for 5 seconds, and then switching it back on. * The battery may be worn out. In this case, replace the battery by following the instructions in this manual. * There might be a mechanical problem. Contact your sales representative for assistance.

What to do if full-time bypass outlets stop providing power on Rackmount UPS?

  If the full-time bypass outlets on your Rackmount UPS stop providing power, it could be due to the circuit breaker button popping up as a result of an overload. To fix this, unplug at least one piece of equipment from the full-time bypass outlets. Then, switch off the UPS, wait 5 seconds, reset the circuit breaker by pressing down the breaker button, and switch the UPS back on.
