5. To end the sequence, press and hold
SETUP
until the red light blinks twice. Whenever you
press the selected favorite key, your Phone
Up 4 sends the commands you entered.
Note:
The Phone Up 4 must be pointed toward
the device(s) the entire time you send a se-
quence.
Erasing a Sequence
1. Press and hold
SETUP
until the red light
blinks twice.
2. Press
9 9 5
. The red light blinks twice again.
3. Press the favorite key you want to erase (
F1
,
F2
,
F3
,
F4
).
4. Press and hold
SETUP
until the red light
blinks twice. Your sequence is erased.
PUNCH-THROUGH
Using Punch-Through
Punch-through lets you control two different de-
vices without pressing the device key for each
one first. Here’s how it works.
Not all of the Phone Up 4’s keys are used by ev-
ery device. If you select one device, then select
another device that does not use all of the func-
tions, the Phone Up 4 can still control some of the
first device’s functions.
For example, a TV is often the only device that
uses the volume keys. If you press
TV
, then press
VCR
, the volume keys continue to operate the TV,
but other keys control the VCR.
