      If your Radio Shack Cordless Telephone is not making or receiving calls, first check that both ends of the telephone line cord are properly connected. Ensure the AC adapter is plugged into both the base and the wall outlet. Try disconnecting the AC adapter for a few minutes, then reconnect it. Also, make sure the handset is not too far from the base.

If the problem persists, try moving to another location or turning off the source of interference.

Also, ensure that the handset is not too far from the base.
