line. The

terminated
with an ASCII ETX
(X'03')

carriage
return (X'OD').
If the
terminator is a carriage return,
it will
be
printed; if it is an
ETX, it
will not be
printed.
This allows
VDLINE
to
position the
cursor
to the
beginning of
the next
line or leave
it at the
position
after the last
text
character.
