carry
out
the
checkout
and
adjustment
procedure,
the
following
accessories
are
necessary:

TC-Electrode
Simulator,
code
901-705
as
described
in
Chapter
6
of
the
Service
Manual,
ACCESSORIES.

similar

recommended).
Please
note
that
checkout
and
adjustment
of
the
5
V
reference
voltage
requires

digit
instrument.

internal
battery

be
well
charged

carrying
out
the
procedures,
Please
note
that
some
steps
require
the
cabinet
to
be
opened.
When
carrying
out
all
procedures,
the
cabinet
should
be
opened
before
initiating
the
first
procedure.
The
procedures
are
based
on
the
built-in
test
program.
The
test
program
is
called
by
switching
on
the
monitor
while
the
electrode
simulator
is
connected
to
the
monitor
with
the
ELECTRODE
switch
set
in
the
TEST
position.
Without
the
simulator,
the
test
program
can
be
called
by
switching
on
the
monitor
while
pressing
the
ALARM
OFF
and
SET
keys
simultaneously.
The
test
software
includes
20
program
steps.
The
actual
test
mode
number
is
displayed
in
the
auxiliary
display
(except
steps
1
and
5).
-
The
pOy/pCO,
displays
function
as
a
Digital
Voltmeter
in
step
8
-
11.
The
ALARM
OFF
key
is
used
to
step
through
the
test
program.
The
stepping
direction
can
be
reversed
with
the
SET
key
(except
in
step
2).
This
procedure
checks
the
RAM,
EPROM,
and
peripherals.
Step
Action
1
Connect
the
TC
Electrode
Simulator
to
the
monitor
with
the
two
control
cables.
:
2.
Set
the
simulator
ELECTRODE
switch
to
TEST
and
switch
on
the
monitor.
All
display
segments,
light-bars
and
the
audio
alarm
will
be
activated
for
2
seconds.
The
auxiliary
display
will
show
the
software
version
number
(the
first
10
seconds
flashing).
3.
Press
the
ALARM
OFF
key
to
advance
the
test
program.
