The
following
test/adjustment
is
performed
while
the
monitor
is
in
normal
monitoring
mode
(Simulator

The procedures require the cabinet to be opened.

Action
Ensure that the mains adapter and the TCR3/REC recorder cable is
not connected to the Monitor.
Connect a variable power supply to the monitor's internal battery
leads instead of the NiCd battery.
Adjust the power supply to 9 volts and switch on the monitor.
Reduce slowly the power supply voltage until the BAT light bar
begins to flash.
Check using a DVM that the power supply voltage is 7.20 + 0.1 V.
If outside, adjust the potentiometer R51 on the Main PCB.
Hint: If the “BAT low” activation voltage is above 7.30 V, tum the
potentiometer counter-clockwise.
If itis below 7.10 V, turn the potentiometer clockwise.
Repeat steps 2 and 3.
Remove the power supply and the DVM and reconnect the NiCd
battery.
Reprogram the Setup and AUX programs.
Check the mmHg/kPa and in-vivo cal. settings in the service program,
step 0:04.
