Why does my RADLEY WS5T Log Splitter fail to split logs?
    • S
      Shelia DonaldsonAug 5, 2025
If your RADLEY Log Splitter fails to split logs, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the log is correctly positioned according to the "Log Splitter Operation" section. If the log's size or hardness exceeds the machine's capacity, reduce the log size. A blunt wedge cutting edge may also be the cause, requiring you to refer to the "Sharpening Wedge" section. Oil leaks or unauthorized adjustments to the Max. Pressure Screw, resulting in a lower maximum pressure rating, could also be reasons. In these cases of oil leaks or unauthorized adjustments, contact the dealer.

What to do if RADLEY Log Splitter has oil leaks around cylinder ram?
    • M
      Mrs. Morgan RobinsonAug 15, 2025
If you notice oil leaks around the cylinder ram or from other points in your RADLEY Log Splitter, it could be due to several reasons. One potential cause is air sealed in the hydraulic system during operation; to resolve this, loosen the Bleed Screw by 3~4 rotations before operating the log splitter. Another cause could be that the Bleed Screw was not tightened before moving the log splitter; in this case, tighten the Bleed Screw before moving it. Additionally, check if the Oil Drain Bolt with Dipstick is tight, and tighten it if necessary. If the Hydraulic Control Valve Assembly and/or seal(s) are worn, it is recommended to contact the dealer.

Why is RADLEY WS5T Log Splitter log pusher moving jerkily?
    • T
      Tonya WilsonAug 26, 2025
If the log pusher in your RADLEY Log Splitter moves jerkily, accompanied by unfamiliar noises or excessive vibration, it may be due to a lack of hydraulic oil or excessive air in the hydraulic system. Check the oil level and refill if necessary. It is also recommended to contact the dealer.
