• In case of long-term storage, we recommend charging the battery every 3 months.
• Replace the battery with a new one every 12 months, preferably before the start of the new sea-
son.
• Keep the battery away from unauthorized persons.
TRANSPORT
This machine is not approved for use on public roads. Must be used (as specied by the Highway
Code) in private areas closed to trac.
When moving the machine, the blades must be switched o and the cutting deck raised as high as
possible.
• Switch o the blades before crossing surfaces other than grass.
• Be sure not to bend or damage the cutting tool when driving the mower over obstacles.
• For longer distances, use a vehicle with loading ramps.
• Push the machine by hand and with the gear lever in neutral.
• Do not lift with cables.
TRANSPORTATION ON A TRAILER
CAUTION! The handbrake is not sucient to lock the machine during transport. Make sure
ensure that the machine is securely attached to the vehicle.
CAUTION! Allow the engine to cool before transporting the machine.
CAUTION! The fuel tank must be empty. Spilled fuel or fuel vapors can
to catch re.
1. Empty the fuel tank before transporting the machine.
2. Empty the fuel tank with a suction pump. Start the engine and let it run until it uses up all the
remaining gasoline and fumes.
3. Close the fuel cap securely.
4. Turn the engine key and fuel valve (if equipped) to the o or stop position.
5. Allow engine to cool before shipping.
6. Be careful not to drop or bump the machine when transporting.
7. Secure the machine rmly in an upright position while transporting.
8. The machine is heavy and can cause serious injury. Use extreme caution when loaded or unload-
ed from a vehicle or trailer.
9. Use an approved trailer to transport the machine.
10. At least two approved belts and four chocks must be used to secure the machine to the trailer.
11. Apply the parking brake and fasten the tensioning belts around the stable parts of the machine,
e.g. frame or rear carriage.
12. Secure the machine by tensioning the belts to the rear and front of the trailer respectively.
13. Place wheel blocks in front of and behind the rear wheels.
14. Check and obey local trac laws before transporting or operating the machine on any road.
15. Be careful not to bump the machine during transport. Do not place objects on the device.
SERVICE AND SPARE PARTS
• Device maintenance must be performed by qualied service personnel,
using only identical spare parts. This will ensure that the safety of
the device is supported.
• Whether you need technical advice, repair or original spare parts
parts from the factory, contact your nearest RAIDER service center.
DISPOSAL
• Dispose of your device, accessories and packaging in accordance with environmental protection
requirements at the collection center for recycling.
• This machine does not belong to household waste. Protect the environment and take the device
to designated collection points where it will be collected free of charge. For more information,
please contact your local authority or the nearest collection point. Illegal dumping can be punished
according to national regulations.
