Damp sponge to keep soldering tip clean
Thin diameter ROSIN core solder

ALIGNMENT: A feature of the FX design is that Synthesizer Alignment can be
accomplished by listening carefully to a transmitted signal of known accuracy.
To adjust trimmer capacitor C81 "by the numbers," use your Ramsey
Frequency Counter or a digitally accurate VHF receiver with BFO.
