maintainedfromthedisplay.
Whenchoosingasuitablelocationforthemultifunction
displayyoushouldaimtomaintainthemaximum
possibledistancebetweenthedisplayandany
compasses.Typicallythisdistanceshouldbeatleast
1m(3ft)inalldirections.Howeverforsomesmaller
vesselsitmaynotbepossibletolocatethedisplaythis
farawayfromacompass.Inthissituation,thefollowing
guresprovidetheminimumsafedistancethatshould
bemaintainedbetweenthedisplayandanycompasses.
