•Allequipmentshouldbewiredtoindividualbreakers
ifpossible.

Grounding—Dedicateddrainwire
Thepowercablesuppliedwiththisproductincludesa
dedicatedshield(drain)wireforconnectiontoavessel’s
RFgroundpoint.
ItisimportantthataneffectiveRFgroundisconnected
tothesystem.Asinglegroundpointshouldbeusedfor
allequipment.Theunitcanbegroundedbyconnecting
theshield(drain)wireofthepowercabletothevessel’s
RFgroundpoint.OnvesselswithoutanRFground
systemtheshield(drain)wireshouldbeconnected
directlytothenegativebatteryterminal.
Thedcpowersystemshouldbeeither:
•Negativegrounded,withthenegativebatteryterminal
connectedtothevessel’sground.
•Floating,withneitherbatteryterminalconnectedto
thevessel’sground
