Beforemountingtheunitensurethatyouhave:
•Identiedtheroutesthatthecableswilltake.

1.Switchoffthevessel’spowersupply.
2.Checktheselectedlocationfortheunit,aclear,
atareaisrequired,whichissafetohavescrews
ttedto.
3.Positiontheconverteragainsttheselected
locationandmarkthesurfacethroughthe
converter’smountingholes.
4.Usinganappropriatesizedrillbit,drill2holesat
themarkedlocations.
5.Positiontheconvertersothatthemountingholes
oftheunitlineupwiththedrilledholesinthe
mountingsurface.
6.Useselftappingscrewsofasuitablesizeto
securetheconvertertothemountingsurface.
DoNOTovertightenthexings.
7.ConnecttheSeaTalk
ng
backboneandspur
cables.
8.ConnecttheSeaTalkspurcabletotheSeaTalk
spurconnector.
9.Connectthesuppliedblankplugstoanyunused
connectors.
10.Switchthevessel’spowersupplybackonand
checksystem.
