Chapter 4: Fault Finding & Maintenance

assuran ce proc edures befo re shipp ing .
T his chapter p rovides information about iden tifying prob lems, i nterpreting alarm
messages , maintain ing your SmartPi lot and obtainin g product supp ort.
If a fau lt occurs with your SmartPilot, use the faul t finding tables in this section to
help id entify the problem and provide a solution. If you cannot resolve the
prob lem yourself , refer to the product support info rmation.
4.1 Fault finding
SYMPTOM POSSIBLE CAUSE and SOLUTION
Display is blank No power – check the power and SeaTalk fuses on the
computer , then check main fuse/circuit breaker .
