Maintenance
Do not manipulate the electrical
components yourself, including battery
and motor hub. Always contact your
closest authorized dealer to fix your
Rayvolt Bike. Handling the electrical
components yourself would mean the
loose of warranty.
Electrical components
All the Rayvolt Bike batteries are
Lithium-Ion batteries. Li-Ion are long
life batteries, nevertheless, a proper
maintenance will allow you to prolong
its life. You can charge the battery
directly without removing it by plugging
the charger. To remove the battery,
disconnect the two cables as indicated
in the drawing. The Li-Ion batteries do
not have memory so you better not
totally discharge it. Plug the battery
to the charger. Check the charger
specification table (chapter …) to
estimate the charging time.
Battery
Rayvolt Bike comes with an overheat
protection. Remember that you will
not be able to run the motor if break
is pulled. Avoid riding your bike where
water level is too high where you may
damage both the battery and the motor.
