REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
Stopping the Dirt Quad 500
To stop unit, release the throttle and apply the brake until
the four wheeler comes to a complete stop.
USAGE
Starting the Dirt Quad 500
To start unit, while seated on seat, turn on power switch; place both
hands on handlebars and apply the throttle with right hand.
Turn power switch OFF before conducting any maintenance procedures.
Read the instructions
Remove charger plug
Turn the power switch OFF
Secure the unit under repair
Exercise caution around
exposed parts

Replacing Battery
1 Carefully stand unit upright as
shown above.
4 Loosen wing nut located on
the top of the battery strap and
remove pin.
2 Locate battery compartment and
squeeze metal tabs to gain access
to the batteries.
5 Depress the plastic tab on the battery connector to disconnect the bat-
teries. Using both hands, carefully remove batteries from unit.
3 Carefully lower battery tray.
