POWER (RCA models) —
Turns power on or off
(STANDBY mode). (Thomson
models) — keep pressing
briefly STANDBY mode to
enter ECO (power saving,
without clock display) mode.
TUNER Selects tuner
CD Selects CD player
TAPE Selects tape player
AUX Selects an external
input.
MUTE Mutes volume
VOL+ or VOL- Increases/
decreases volume
EQ PRESET Selects equaliz-
er presets
HELP Turns HELP mode
on/off
PLAY Plays current CD
STOP Stops playing CD
TRACK FWD Increments CD track; searches
through CD
TRACK REV Decrements CD track; searches
through CD
(Press TRACK FWD/ REV to tune up/ down tuner
frequency)
DISC SKIP Skips to next CD
REPEAT —(REPEAT/RDS Thomson models)
Repeats a track, CD, or all CDs. When the radio is
active, displays RDS information
PAUSE Pauses the CD
SHUFFLE (MIX/PTY SEARCH Thomson models)
Turns on/off random listening
BASS B. Turns on or off Bass Boost
SLEEP Press to select the time interval in
minute before the unit turns off.
PRESET UP/DOWN Selects next/ previous preset
station
SURROUND Activates X- SURROUND (only for
RS2521, RS2522, RS3520, RS3522, A3200, A3205,
A3400). Otherwise, does not function in this unit.
RECORD does not function in this unit
