Repeatedly press the SHUTTER button to select one of the
higher shutter speeds
(l/100,
l/SOO,

l/4000

shutter speed indicators

SIOO,
2500,

S4000)
will
appear in the electronic viewfinder when you press the
SHUTTER
button.
Note: Higher shutter speeds require more light. The low-contrast
indicator (AF) will flash in the electronic viewfinder when more light
is needed.
When you are finished recording the fast-action scene,
repeatedly press the SHUTTER button until the shutter
indicators disappear from the electronic viewfinder (or press
the FULL AUTO button).

Notes: A tape recorded at the higher shutter speeds may not show
movement and change of scene as smoothly as recordings at the normal
l/60
second speed.
For indoor high-speed shutter recording. you may find that additional
halogen or tungsten lighting is required.
When recording at higher shutter speeds, use of fluorescent, mercury
vapor, or sodium lighting may cause a “flickering” effect.
