THE PHILOSOPHY OF 4PRO
If you have had the opportunity to listen to any of our active systems live in the past, then you will,
hopefully be enthusiastic about our new 4PRO Series. The system represents a natural evolution of what
RCF has produced in the past. This progression has now reached the 4PRO system, dedicated to live,
touring and fixed installations. As with all of our developments, it comes out of a desire to improve on
what has gone before. In doing so, we first listened to what our customers said, it is from their feedback,
that we have striven to produce the perfect speaker. Over the past years, of continuous research and
development of active technology, RCF have reached a whole new audience in the live PA and concert
market. In doing so, one thing has become evident, in both large and small live music venues, with their
professionalism there is a passion to produce something more - the sound that gives you the possibility
of creating new emotions.
COMPONENTS
All the transducers in the 4PRO Series speakers feature light weight neodymium magnets in order to
guarantee a better performance and make for easier transportation.
All Compression drivers and Transducers are precision built taking advantage of RCF’s superior
moulding, assembly technologies and a wealth of professional knowledge and experience dedicated to
achieving extremely high standards.
AMPLIFIERS
All 4PRO Series new two-way speakers are equipped with a new generation of 750 Watt Digital
Amplifiers, 500 Watt for the woofers and 250 Watt for the compression drivers. The result of this is very
high output, extremely low distortion and an incredible natural sound.
Each amplifier presents both XLR/jack (Combo) balanced inputs, XLR output link, volume, EQ Mode
(Flat/Boost).
The amplifier features a solid mechanical aluminium structure which not only stabilize the amplifier
during transportation but also assist in the heat dissipation.
All the 4PRO Series amplifiers presents PFC power supply section in order to produce maximum output
even in case of tension drops from main supply.
CABINETS
The new loudspeaker design looks aggressive whilst retaining familiar 4PRO ergonomics and is the
result of extensive combined functional and acoustic research.
The 4PRO two-way system cabinets are manufactured in Baltic birch plywood and are designed to
dampen down vibrations even at maximum volume settings. The reflex porting has been resized to offer
a better efficiency.
