What is WG251 SKB-B RESMART
WG251 SKB-B RESMART is a webguide edge regulation system, consisting of a driver MWG10 and an
ultrasound sensor SU m-25.
The MWG10 control interface, with its simple, easy-to-use graphic display, enables the user to execute
the regulation procedure and set up the webguide system operating parameters.
General operation
Each time the WG251 SKB-B RESMART is switched on, if the material is absent, it executes a
self-diagnostic routine, upon completion, if it detects any anomalies, the digital output (GENERIC
ALARM) is put on 0Vdc; otherwise the output is put on 24Vdc to indicate the instrument functions
correctly.
Once the self-diagnostic routine is complete, the unit switches to AUTO operating status (automatic
regulation) if no anomalies are detected and F.12=1, or if there is material inside the field of view of the
sensor. In any other case the unit remains in MAN status.
When the system is in AUTO operating status, the alignment unit moves to correct the position of the
material so that the edge remains in the centre of the sensor (with set point = 0). It is possible to modify
the position by changing the set point value as described on pages 10-11.
It is possible to change the sensor position by turning the micrometer bar knob, as indicated on page 7.
