The REATHLETE COUNTO is a smart digital scale designed to help users track their health and physical condition by measuring a variety of parameters. This device serves as a comprehensive tool for individuals planning their exercise regimes, diets, and overall lifestyle.
Function Description
The COUNTO scale provides measurements for numerous body parameters, including:
- Body weight
- Body mass index (BMI)
- Body fat rate
- Subcutaneous fat
- Visceral fat
- Body water
- Skeletal muscle rate
- Muscle mass
- Bone mass
- Protein

These measurements are intended for reference only and should not be considered medical opinions. Users are advised to consult their primary care doctor or physician before making any changes to their diet, exercise regime, or physical activities based on these readings.
Usage Features
To use the COUNTO scale, users must first install the "Fitdays" app on their smartphone or tablet. The app is compatible with iOS 8.0 or higher and Android 6.0 or higher. Users can find the app by searching "Fitdays" in the Apple App Store or Google Play, or by scanning the provided QR code.
Initial Setup:
- Battery Installation: Insert two 1.5V AAA batteries (not included) into the battery holder on the back of the scale, ensuring the positive and negative poles face the correct directions as indicated by the signs.
- Placement: Place the scale on a hard, dry, and flat surface. This is crucial for accurate measurements.
- App Registration: Open the Fitdays app and follow the registration instructions. Users will need to enter personal information such as gender, age, and height. It is important to provide accurate information, as incorrect data will lead to inaccurate measurements from the smart scale.
- Bluetooth Connection: Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet and connect it to the scale.
Taking Measurements:
- Activate Display: Tap your foot on the scale to activate the display. Wait until the display shows "0.0".
- Step On Scale: Step onto the scale with bare feet. If socks or shoes are worn, only body weight and BMI will be measured. For all other parameters, direct skin contact with the scale's electrodes is necessary.
- Weighing and Analyzing: The number on the display will flash as the scale weighs and analyzes the body composition. Users should remain standing on the scale until the number stops flashing to ensure the analysis is complete.
- View Report: Tap "More Data" in the Fitdays app to view the full report, which includes BMI, BMR, muscle mass, body fat, and other parameters. The "Record" function allows users to review previous measurements.
Multi-User Support:
The COUNTO scale supports multiple users. Through the "Manage users" function in the app, users can add and switch between up to 24 different profiles per account. The smart scale is designed to recognize the individual stepping on it and will prompt the user to switch to the correct profile in the app if needed.
Weighing a Baby:
The scale includes a "Baby Mode" feature. To use this, select Baby Mode in the app. First, weigh yourself as described above. Then, repeat the weighing process while holding the baby in your arms. The app will calculate the baby's weight by subtracting your weight from the combined weight.
Cautions and Warnings:
- Not Recommended For: Pregnant women, infants, toddlers, and children under 10 years of age.
- Medical Implants: DO NOT use this scale if you have medical implants such as pacemakers.
- Surface: Always place the scale on a hard, dry, and flat surface.
- Feet: Ensure your feet are dry before stepping on the scale.
- Overload: DO NOT overload the scale. Its maximum capacity is 180 kg (approximately 400 lb or 28 st).
- Physical Stress: DO NOT stand on the edge of the scale or jump on it. DO NOT drop the scale or drop objects on it, as this may damage the sensors.
- Water Immersion: DO NOT immerse the scale in water.
Troubleshooting:
The manual provides solutions for common issues:
- No Bluetooth connection: Check if Bluetooth is on for both the device and the scale, verify the OS version (iOS 8.0+/Android 6.0+), and find the scale ID in "My device" in the app.
- No body fat data: Ensure you are barefoot, your feet and the scale surface are dry, and you remain on the scale until the display stops flashing. Recheck Bluetooth connection.
- Inconsistent weight reports: Ensure the scale is on a hard, flat surface. Check for and remove any foreign objects stuck to or under the scale. Restart the scale by removing and reinserting batteries.
- Incorrect fat-muscle ratio: Verify that the gender, height, and age entered in the app are correct.
- Scale requires recalibration: Step on the scale to turn it on and allow it to automatically drop to 0.0 kg to calibrate.
- Scale does not turn on: Ensure batteries are charged and inserted correctly, with poles facing the right directions.
Display Messages:
- LO: Indicates low battery; replace with two 1.5V AAA batteries.
- Err: Indicates overload.
- C: Indicates an error during measurement; step off and back onto the scale to repeat the process.
