Why does my RedMax GZ500 Chainsaw engine start then stop?

Your RedMax Chainsaw engine might start and then stop due to several reasons. It could be due to incorrect fuel type, in which case you should drain the fuel tank and fill it with the correct fuel. Another cause may be a clogged air filter; clean or replace the air filter to resolve this. If the idle speed is not correct, speak to your servicing dealer.
