FILLING HELM HYDRAULIC STEERING FLUID
FILL PLUG
There is a fill plug located at the starboard helm
used to add hydraulic fluid to the steering system.
There is a hose kit used to fill the system. Note that
Sea Star Solutions recommends Seastar Hydraulic
Steering Fluid for use with the filler kit.
Any non-approved fluid may cause serious damage
to the steering system resulting in possible loss of
steering, causing property damage, personal injury
or death.
Contact your closest Regal dealer or marine
professional for system filling instructions since the
steering system may need to be purged of air by
opening bleed fittings as the wheel is turned port
and/or starboard.
