Do you have a question about the Remington D25A Series and is the answer not in the manual?
This document describes the Remington D25A Series hairdryer, a household appliance designed for hair drying and styling.
The Remington D25A Series hairdryer is primarily used for drying hair and can also be used for various styling purposes with its included attachments. It features a "StyleAdapt™ Mode" which intelligently learns about the user's hair and adjusts the air temperature for personalized drying. This mode automatically adapts the heat during styling, with temperature changes happening quickly and automatically without being explicitly shown on the display. The device also offers a "Manual Mode" for users who prefer standard hairdryer operation without the adaptive heat feature. A "Cool shot" function is available to set hairstyles with a burst of cold air. The hairdryer incorporates a "Memory Function" that automatically sets the device to the last used mode and speed upon subsequent uses.
The hairdryer operates at 120Vac 60Hz. It features an outlet grill with advanced ceramic coating. The device is equipped with a polarized plug as a safety feature. It is designed for household use only and should not be plugged or unplugged with wet hands. The appliance should always be stored in a moisture-free area and not in temperatures exceeding 140°F (60°C).
The hairdryer offers several controls for ease of use:
The device comes with three attachments:
Attachments are fitted by twisting them clockwise onto the front of the hairdryer. It's advised to use the cool shot button for a few seconds before removing attachments to reduce their temperature, as they can become hot during use.
In StyleAdapt™ Mode, the StyleAdapt™ indicator (4) on the dryer handle spins (Fig. B) while the dryer learns and adjusts temperature. The display (3) shows the selected mode (Quick Dry, Diffuse, Style) and the air speed.
In Manual Mode, the StyleAdapt™ indicator turns off, and the display shows "Manual." Users can then manually select heat and speed settings. To reactivate StyleAdapt™ Mode, the StyleAdapt™ button is pressed until one of the adaptive modes is selected and the indicator illuminates.
Regular maintenance is crucial for peak product performance and to prolong motor life. Users should regularly remove any dust and dirt from the removable inlet grill (5). The grill can be removed as shown in Fig. C, cleaned with a cloth or soft brush, and then replaced.
The hairdryer has an "Overheat Protection" feature. If the appliance overheats, it may stop unexpectedly or start blowing cold air. This is typically caused by a blocked grill/filter. In such cases, the user should immediately unplug the appliance, clean the grill/filter as described in the maintenance section, and if overheating persists, discontinue use and contact customer service.
The product is covered by a "Limited Five-Year Warranty" against defects due to faulty material or workmanship from the original date of consumer purchase. This warranty does not cover damage from accident or misuse. Empower Brands, LLC offers a "Money-Back Offer" and a "60-Day Money Back Guarantee" for customers in the U.S. and Canada, allowing returns for a refund within a specified period if not completely satisfied.
