CRUISE CONTROL (2/4)
Activating cruise control
At a steady speed (above approxi-
mately 19 mph (30 km/h)) press the
switch 3 (SET/-): the function is acti-
vated and the current speed is stored.
The cruising speed replaces the dashes
and the cruise control function is con-
firmed by the appearance, depending
on the vehicle, of the message “Cruise
control ON” or “Cruise Control XXX
mph (XXX km/h)”
and the 5 warn-
ing light in green, in addition to the 6
warning light.
Switching on
Press switch 1 on the side showing .
The 6 warning light appears in green
and, depending on the vehicle, the
message “Cruise control ON” or “Cruise
Control --- mph (--- km/h)” appears on
the instrument panel, accompanied by
dashes to indicate that the cruise con-
trol function is in operation and waiting
to memorise a cruising speed.

Driving
Once a cruising speed is stored and
the cruise control function is active,
you may lift your foot off the accelera-
tor pedal.
Please note that you must
keep your feet close to the
pedals in order to react in
an emergency.
