Front and engine compartment

You can view the oil level on the instrument panel:
when the message “test of control system” ap-
pears on the instrument panel, press either
button or . The oil level is temporarily displayed
on the instrument panel.
You must observe the service intervals and the
standards governing the oils tested for your
engine. Refer to the Maintenance Service docu-
ment for your vehicle, and to Section 4 of the ve-
hicle handbook for the precautions to take when
filling with oil.

The level indicated on tank should be between
the “MINI" and "MAXI" markings.
If it is necessary to top up this level, it is essential
to do so when the engine is cold.

Add some fluid to reservoir if necessary.
 depending on the vehicle, to find out the
fluid level, open the cap and pull out the dipstick.

To open, pull handle , pull on the bonnet handle
then lift it. Secure the bonnet with the stay.

Check that nothing has been left in the engine
compartment.
To close the bonnet again, hold the bonnet in the
middle and guide it until it locks properly.
Check that the bonnet is locked.
