STAGE 1
Front and Engine Compartment
CONNECTION AND CHARGING
Plug in and unplug the cable, open the charging outlet... When
it’s electric, it’s easy!
Invite the customer to open the flap and plug in the charging cable so they can see how easy it is to use.
Guide them step by step using the KANGOO Z.E. charging procedure:
RECHARGING THE BATTERY
Show the customer that the charging
cable is located in the vehicle luggage
compartment.
Put the lever into the P position.
Have the customer carry outthe process:
• Plug the end of the cable into the power
source.
• Unlock the charging flap (6) using the
switch or the radio-frequency remote
control.
• Open the valve (7)
• Plug the cable into the vehicle: The light
appears on the instrumentpanel.
Tell the customer that the charging cable must be properly
unwound to prevent it overheating.
UNPLUGGING THE CABLE FROM THE SOCKET
Explain that it is absolutely necessary to follow the unplugging steps
in order.
• Unlock by pressing the button (9) on the radio-frequency remote
control or the switch (10).
• Grip the handle.
• Unplug the chargingcable from the vehicle. The light
switches off on the dashboard.
• Close the valve (7) and the charging flap (6) by pressing on it to lock
it.
• Unplug the cable from the power source.
• Put the cable in its bag, then in the boot.
STAGE 2 Passenger Side
CV FOLDING PASSENGER SEAT AND PIVOTING PARTITION
Essential when transporting long or bulky items.
ROTATINGTHE PARTITION
Have the customer carry outthe process:
• Show them how to unlock the seat by turning the handle 1
downwards.
• Have them lift the cushion of the front passenger seat to the
vertical position (arrow).
• Lower the headrest 2 as far as it will go.
• Show them the handle 1 for unlocking the seat back and have them
turn it downwards. Place the seat back in the horizontal position. To
make the operation easier, show them how to swivel the headrest.
• Show them how to unlock the pivoting part by lifting the latch 3.
• Reposition the seat cushion by performing the procedure in
reverse.
• Have the customer swivel the movable part at a right angle and lock it
in point 5 by lowering the latch 3.
• Ensure that the locking point 4 is clean.
Tell the customer to:
►Ensure that no object prevents the seat from being adjusted.
►When the rear bench is folded down, the front seats must be
adjusted carefully.
►Ensure that the seat has locked into place.
