1. Description of function
The vehicle is equipped with a system that
facilitates reverse parking manoeuvres by
detecting obstacles that could damage the
vehicle.When reverse gear is engaged,an
audible beep signals that the Park Master is
active.The detected obstacle will be indicated by
an intermittent beep,increasing in frequency until
it becomes a continuous tone as the vehicle
moves closer to the obstacle.
CAUTION
The distances mentioned are only a guide,the
shape of each detection zone can vary from
vehicle to vehicle.
The detection zone is always taken from the
rear end of the bumper, regardless a towing
hitch or spare wheel cover is installed.If
applicable, please take the size of the spare
wheel cover and towing hitch into account.

± 200 cm
Continuous signalling zone: This is the zone
nearest to the rear bumper.The Park Master
detects obstacles and emits a continuous
beep,whether or not the vehicle is at a standstill.
Static zone: This is the intermediate zone.The
Park Master detects obstacles and emits an
intermittent beep,whether or not the vehicle is at
a standstill.
Dynamic zone: This is the most distant zone
and also the widest.The Park Master detects
obstacles,but only emits an intermittent beep if
the distance.

Bip Bip Bip
No detection: In case the system is not able to
detect obstacles due to sensor
malfunctioning,the system will generate a
continuous intermittent tone with long beeps and
short pauzes.
