3.2. Engage the shift lever to “R”(reverse)to
activate the Park Master.
3.3. The system emits a short beep to confirm
that it is working correctly.
3.4. The system is now ready to detect
obstacles.
Only if a trailer is used
You can deactivate the system when you use a
trailer or bicycle rack so as to avoid unwanted
signals.
In this case, disconnect the small black connector
with the red jumper situated in the boot, on the
wiring connected to the system’s control unit.
If a trailer is used frequently, a switch (optional:
contact your Renault dealer) can be installed in
the vehicle’s boot instead of the red jumper.
O = OFF = system off
I = ON = system on
Do not forget to connect the red jumper or to set
the switch to the ON position after using the trailer
or bicycle rack.
CAUTION
Always approach an obstacle slowly (at less
than 5 km/h)and be ready to press the brake
pedal quickly.
When the signal changes from intermittent
beeps to a continuous beep, stop the vehicle
immediately.
If the sensors are already too close to an
object,they may not be able to detect it.
