WARRANTY POLICY
Corrosion and external damage caused by the fall
of stonees, gravel, salt, scratche dents, nail or
other impact.
Discoloration resulting from insects, sap, tar,
acid rain, thunderstorms, lightning, radioactivity
or pollution
Loss of use of the motorcycle, lost time, lost by
damage to personal property or others, loss of
income, inconvenience, car rentals and other
consequential damages substitutes such as fuel
costs, telephone, bank loans, insurance fee,
leasing, travel, lodging, hotels, trailers, cranes,
alternate transportation, etc., which is generated
during the repair of the property.
Warranty on the proprietary items like tyres,
tubes, battery or spark plug are to be claimed
directly by respective manufacturers, since these
parts warranty is directly handled by them subject
to their warranty terms and conditions. In all such
ca ses, the d ecisi on of t he re spe ct ive
manufacturer will be final and binding on all
concerned.
Motorcycles, like any complex machine, need to
receive a series of regular care. The large number
of parts and mechanisms that comprise the
motorcycle are subject to normal wear and tear.
Based on this, UM sets parameters of a Limited
Warranty on most of its parts (Limited Warranty
provided with contract).
Due to continous development, improvement/
changes in design of vehicle will happen & UM thus
has no obligation to install such changes on
previously manufactured vehicles.
In case of any dispute, UM decision will be final &
binding on all concerned.
UM also warrants to the ultimate purchaser of each
Renegade purchaser and each subsequent
purchaser of each UM motorcycle covered by this
warranty, that the vehicle is designed, built and
equipped so as to confirm at the time of sale with all
emission standards applicable at the time of
manufacture and that it is free from defects in
material and workmanship which would cause it not
to meet these standards within the period listed
immediately below. Failure other than those
resulting from defects in material or workmanship
which arise solely as a result of owner abuse and /
or lack of proper maintenance are not covered by
this warranty.
