10. Operation
Do not put the device into operation until your have familiarised yourself with the functions and
these operating instructions.
Check all the connections again.
a) General operation
• Press the VOLUME/POWER button (11) briefly to switch the device on or off.
• When the device is switched off, the STANDBY indicator (4) lights up.
• Select a playback source by pressing the buttons CD/USB/SD (2), PHONO (5), TUNER/BAND (6) and
AUX (7).
CD/USB/SD (2) successively selects the CD player, the USB interface and the SD card reader
PHONO (5) selects the record player
TUNER/BAND (6) selects the radio
AUX (7) select the external AUX input
• Control the playback volume by turning the VOLUME/POWER button (11).
If the operating modes CD, phono, AUX IN, USB or SD do not receive an audio signal for longer
than 10 minutes, the device switches to standby mode automatically to save energy.
b) Setting the time
• While the device is in standby (STANDBY indicator (4) must be illuminated), press the MODE/CLK but-
ton (14) until 12H or 24H flashes in the display.
• Select the desired time display format (12H or 24H) using the TUNING/SKIP knob (23).
• Press the MODE/CLK button (14) again to confirm.
• Set the hour display with the TUNING/SKIP knob (23).
• Press the MODE/CLK button (14) again to confirm.
• Set the minute display with the TUNING/SKIP knob (23).
• Press the MODE/CLK button (14) again to confirm.
