c) Setting the alarm time
The alarm time is set in the following sequence:
Switch-on time ON > Switch-off time OFF > Playback source > Alarm volume
• While the device is in standby (STANDBY indicator (4) must be illuminated), press the TIMER/SLEEP but-
ton (8) until ON appears briefly in the display and then the hour display flashes.
• Set the hour display of the switch-on time with the TUNING/SKIP knob (23).
• Press the TIMER/SLEEP button (8) again to confirm.
• Set the minute display of the switch-on time with the TUNING/SKIP knob (23).
• Press the TIMER/SLEEP button (8) again to confirm. OFF appears briefly in the display to signal that the
switch-off time can now be set.
• Set the hour display of the switch-off time with the TUNING/SKIP knob (23).
• Press the TIMER/SLEEP button (8) again to confirm.
• Set the minute display of the switch-off time with the TUNING/SKIP knob (23).
• Press the TIMER/SLEEP button (8) again to confirm.
• Set the desired playback source with the TUNING/SKIP knob (23).
• Press the TIMER/SLEEP button (8) again to confirm.
• Set the desired alarm volume with the TUNING/SKIP knob (23).
• Press the TIMER/SLEEP button (8) again to confirm.
• When the setup has completed, the display will show once more the settings made for inspection.
d) Activating/deactivating of the alarm function
When the alarm function is activated, the display shows a clock symbol in the top right. This symbol is not
shown, when the alarm function is deactivated.
• Briefly press the TIMER/SLEEP button (8) to switch the alarm function on or off.
• When the alarm function is switched on, the display shows the alarm time settings successively for
inspection.
e) Snooze function
• When the alarm sounds, press the OP/CL/SNOOZE button on the remote control to stop the alarm sound
for approx. 10 minutes.
• The alarm sound will resume after this time.
