10. Operation
Only take the device into operation after familiarising yourself with its functions and these operating
instructions.
Check all the connections again. When you have done so, reconnect the negative pole of the car battery.
a) General Operation
MUT/ button (2)
• This button switches the radio on and off and activates muting.

• Push the button long with the device off to switch it off.

Rotary control (3)
• Turning this switch adjusts the volume.
• Brief or long pushing of this switch permits additional menu settings.

BAS > TRE > BAL > FAD > LOUD > EQ > STEREO/MONO > LOC > BEEP
• Pushing the rotary control (3) long:
AF ON/OFF > TA SEEK/ALARM > PI MUTE/SOUND > RETUNE S/L > MASK DPI/ALL

Display (6)
• The display (6) shows all the information, depending on the audio source that is being played (radio, USB playback
etc.).
MOD / (20) button
• With this button the different audio sources are selected and the handsfree is operated (explained in more detail in
the chapter “Bluetooth
®
-Operation” later in these instructions).
• Brieypushthebutton
MOD / (20) to switch to the next source:
RADIO > BT AUDIO > USB > SD > AUX-IN
When one of the sources is not active, i.e. no medium inserted, this source will be skipped in the selection.
