Why is there no sound in my ReSound SY312 Hearing Aid?

  Your ReSound Hearing Aid may not be producing sound for several reasons: it might not be turned on (turn it on by closing the battery door), the battery may be dead (replace the battery), the battery door might not be closing properly (insert the battery correctly), the RIE mould or tube could be blocked (clean the RIE mould or tube), or the wax filter may be blocked (replace the wax filter).

What to do if my ReSound Hearing Aid is not loud enough?

  If your ReSound Hearing Aid isn't loud enough, it could be due to several factors. The RIE mould might be incorrectly placed (reinsert the RIE mould). Alternatively, the RIE mould or dome could be blocked (clean the RIE mould, replace the dome, or replace the filter).

  Excessive whistling or feedback in your ReSound Hearing Aid can occur due to incorrect placement of the RIE mould (re-insert the RIE mould carefully) or incorrect dome placement (re-insert the dome).

What to do if wireless does not work on ReSound SY312?

  If the wireless feature isn't working on your ReSound Hearing Aid, for Alera devices with a push button, open and close the battery compartment. For Alera devices without a push button, open and close the battery door twice within 10 seconds. For all Verso devices, open and close the battery compartment once. Wireless will reactivate 10 seconds later.
