  If the Response Alarms Security System siren is giving a full alarm even when the system hasn't been triggered or is disarmed, it might be due to tamper switch activation. Make sure all detector battery covers are secure and that the Solar Siren is properly fixed to the external wall. It is also possible that a Personal Attack Alarm was activated from a Remote Control or Keypad. Another possible reason is the Jamming detection circuit operation.

Also, check if the system is in Service Mode and switch it to Operating mode using the Remote Control. Check the batteries in the Remote Control/Keypad and replace them if necessary. If the siren rechargeable battery is discharged, clean the Solar Panel.

  If the Response Alarms Security System siren is not responding to the detector, replace the detector battery. Also, ensure the system is in Operating mode, not Service Mode. Check that the detector ‘House Code’ is the same as that set on the Siren. Finally, ensure the detector is within the effective radio range of the Solar Siren and that the equipment is not mounted close to metal objects.

  If your Response Alarms Security System PIR Movement Detector isn't detecting movement, check the battery connections are good. Also, reset the pulse count to one pulse detection. Ensure that the detector is correctly set up, DIP switches 1-4 of SW3 are correctly set, the detector is mounted the correct way up with the detection window at the bottom, and that it is mounted at the correct height (2-2.5m). Allow up to three minutes for the detector to stabilise.

If external contacts are connected, ensure the jumper link is removed. Check that all contacts are closed and wired in series.
