•The programmable keys can also be preset to the Compandor function in the programming software (CPS), and
Compandor function can be switched on or off by pressing and holding the programmable key.
16. Monitor
•Monitoring can be set on/off via the programming software (CPS) (menu ticked as always on, default
unchecked).
•The programmable keys can also be preset to the listening function in the programming software.
In standby mode, press and hold the programmable key to switch on the listening function.
In listening mode, a long press on the programmable key will exit the listening function.
17. Time Out Timer(TOT)
To prevent some users from occupying the same channel for a long period of time, the user can set the transmit
time limit function to be enabled.
When the user has been transmitting continuously on the current channel for a set amount of time, the radio will
stop transmitting and a transmit time limit tone will be sounded.
The transmit time limit can be set in the programming software,default 60 seconds.
18. One-touch frequency matching function
This product can support one key frequency pairing function, which can synchronise the channel information of
one radio to other radios by operating one key frequency pairing.
•In standby mode, press and hold the menu key and [+] key at the same time for 3 seconds, and hear a "beep"
tone to enter the radio into the one-touch frequency reception mode, the light green flashing rapidly.
•In standby mode, press and hold the menu key and the [+] key for 5 seconds at the same time, hear two "beeps"
and the radio enters the one-touch transmit mode, the indicator light flashes red quickly. The transmitter will
transmit the channel information to the other radios which have already entered the one-touch receiving mode.
•After the transmitter has successfully transmitted and the receiver has successfully received, all radios will exit
the one-touch mode and the channel information will be the same.
19. Busy channel lock
•Set up in the programming software and set “ On ” or “ Off ” in the channel information busy lock.
•When "On" is selected, if another radio signal is received on that channel, pressing the PTT key will not transmit
and a "drop" sound will be emitted.
•When “ Off ” is selected, the above situation does not occur.
20. Battery Save funciton
In order to extend the battery life, users can turn on the battery saving mode.
When the Battery Save function is switched on, if no valid signal is received or no key operation is performed
within 10 seconds, the radio will automatically enter the power saving mode.
In the power saving mode, the radio can transmit by pressing the [PTT] key or can receive normally when an
radio signal is detected.
21. Low battery alarm function
•When the battery level is lower than 25%, the walkie-talkie will send out a low battery warning tone, and it will
sound once every 30 seconds. Please charge the battery as soon as possible.
At this time, the walkie-talkie will prohibit the user from transmitting, and can only be in standby and receiving
modes. Please replace the battery with a new one or charge the battery.
•When the battery power falls below 5%, the radio will automatically switch off.
22. Alarm function: local alarm + remote alarm
Press and hold the [- ] button, the local and remote walkie-talkie alarms will sound at the same time: after 8s, the
alarm sound ends, and the walkie-talkie speaker is turned on to send information; after 22s, the alarm mode
exits.
