Caution
Before
programming
the
switching times.
the TIMER
MODE se-
lector
[16]
must be in the
PLAY
position,
otherwise
the clock
time
will be altered.
Whetherthe cassette
deck starts
in
play
or
record mode
now de-
pends
on the setting
of the
TIMER N/ODE selector
[16].
The
mode can also
be selected
after the switching
times
have been
entered.

Setting

Set

desired stop
time by depessing
the RUN

The tirrrer
mode is indicated
by
an illuminated dial
in the
display
window

Note
Resetting the
timer functions can be
performed
independently
of
the cassette deck.
A
cassette can be
played
back
while the
switching
times are being stored
in memory.
The timer
can be
programmed
for a 24-hour
cycle,
i.e.
a
pro-
grammed
play
time of approx.
5
minutes is
repeated every 24
hours. The
machine automatically switches off,
when the
end of
the tape
is reached. After 24
hours a new start
pulse
follows.
lf no
cassette
is inserted, or the cassette
is at the end of
the tape,
the
cassette deck
enters a one
minute wait state. During
this
period,
a
new cassette
can
be
mounted. Afterthis time,
the timer
will
not
restart
the
machine.
The timer
function can be
interrupted by
putting
the cassette
deck
into operation.
Endless or
repetition
modes
are blocked
during timer
function.
