Next program step
¢« With the <,>[C, D7] or 1... 0 keys [A9] ... [D11]
enter the desired track number (e.g. 11) for the next
program step.
¢ The display shows: «11 10*38», the entered track
number (11) flashes and the total program playing
time is shown.
¢ While the track number is flashing store the program
step by pressing key [D9].
The display shows: «STORE 02», followed by
«00 10*38>, i.e. the step has been stored.
¢ Upto 30 program steps can be entered by following
the above procedure.
Checking the program steps
e You can check the programmed steps by pressing
the << , >> [C,D8] keys. The program step number
(STEP 01...30) and subsequently the track number
and the total program playing time are displayed.
Deleting a program step
e Selectthe program step to be deleted by pressing the
<<, >> [C,D8] keys, e.g. STEP 07.
e Press key «<Q» [D11] for one second. 7
In place of the track number the number «00»
flashes.
¢ While «00> is still flashing press the prog key [D9].
Program STEP 07 is now cancelled and the higher
program step numbers are shifted downward by 1
position to fill the gap. The display shows: «CLEAR
07».
Maximum program playing time
If the total program playing time exceeds 99 minutes
when the program step is stored, it can no longer be
displayed because the minutes can only be shown as 2-
digit numbers. If this happens, e.g. in STEP 15, the
display changes from «00 99*59» to «15 <>* <>»,
but additional program steps can be stored until the
maximum playing time of 180 minutes has been reached ©
(display shows: «OVER>) or the last program step 30
has been assigned.
Playing the assembled program
e Press the play [A7] key
The program is started beginning with STEP 01
B 25, B 22, B 26 E8
While the program is being played
¢ Play the previous or next STEP by pressing the < , >
key [C,D7].
¢ Playing the program STEPS in random order: Press
the shuffle [B8] key.
¢ Pause functions like in normal mode.
¢« The key functions <<, >> [C,D8] are inhibited in
program playback mode.
¢ With the display [D10] key you can switch the display
between elapsed track time and remain program
playing change.
Interrupting the program playback
¢ Press the stop [B7] key.
Display shows: « * STOP * »
Interrupting and revising a program
¢ Press the prog[D9] key. The individual steps can now
be selected and modified with the << , >> [C,D8]
keys.
Canceling the program and
quitting the PROGRAM mode
Before you can return to the normal CD player operating
mode you must cancel the stored program:
« Press the stop [B7] key once
The display shows: « * STOP * ».
¢ Wait at least 2 seconds and then press the stop [B7]
key again.
The display shows:
— STOP —-».
¢ The program will be cancelled and the CD player
returns to the STOP condition in normal operating
mode.
«CLEAR», followed by «
The program can also be cancelled by pressing the
LOAD [10] key or disconnecting the CD player from the
AC power source.
If the CD player is switched to standby, the prograrm is
preserved and played back when this unit is switched on
again.
