tuner
now
operates

Activate
the
PROGRAM
mode.

With
the

keys
[16]
switch
over
the
display
until
the
«AUTOMEM>»
function
is
displayed.
Initiate
the
function
with
the
MENU
«
DISPLAY
[14]
key.
The
automatic
search
and
store
operation
is
started
and
terminated
when
either
the
upper
limit
of
the
frequency
band
is
reached
or
35
stations
have
been
found.
Display:
The
station
number
flashes
and
is
incremented
by
one
each
time
a
station
has
been
found.
The
scanned
frequency
is
also
continually
displayed.
End
of
the
scan:
The
last
found
station
is
active,
the
station
number
no
longer
flashes.
The
tuner
then
returns
to
normal
operating
mode.

RDS
stations
with
identical
identifiers,
the
AUTOMEMORY
function
stores
only
the
station
with
the
best
reception
quality.
The
stations
are
sorted
in
ascend-
ing
order
by
station
identifier,
the
remaining
memory
locations
are
assigned
to
non-RDS
stations.
Reactivating
the
factory
setting
Interrupt
the
AUTOMEMORY
functions
and
reactivate
the
factory
setting:
¢
During
the
search,
turn
the
tuner
off
by
pressing
the
POWER
[13]
key
and
then
switch
it
on
again.
The
35
station
memories
are
overwritten
with
the
default
frequencies
defined
by
the
factory.
Any
previously
stored
values
will
be
lost.
DELETE
¢
Before
the
PROGRAM
mode
has
been
activated:
¢
Select
the
station
to
be
deleted
by
pressing
the
<
,
>
_
keys
[16].
»
¢
Activate
the
PROGRAM
mode.
¢
With
the
<,
>
keys
[16]
toggle
through
the
functions
until
«DELETE»
is
displayed.
¢
Initiate
the
function
by
pressing
the
MENU
«
DIS-
PLAY
[14]
key.
The
display
shows:
«WAIT
followed
by
«—
OK
—».
The
station
is
deleted
and
all
higher
stations
are
shifted
downward
by
one
position
to
fill
the
gap.
QUIT
¢
Terminate
the
PROGRAM
mode
without
storing
the
changes.

Confirm
the
selection
of
this
function
by
pressing
the
MENU
«
DISPLAY
[14]
key.
The
tuner
now
operates
again
in
normal
mode.
The
tuner
returnsto
normal
operation
mode
