WATER AND GAS CONNECTION DETAIL
HOT WATER OUTLET
Provide a union for disconnection.
Insulate pipe.
COLD WATER INLET
The cold water supply pipe is to be
fitted with an approved gate or ball
valve and union.
PIPE INSULATION
Adequate insulation is required on
the cold and hot pipes, to the
underside of the water heater, in
frost prone areas (refer to AS/NZS
3500).
GAS INLET
The gas supply pipe is to be fitted
with an isolation valve and union.
